What this tool does

The first row of your CSV is treated as the header and becomes the JSON keys. Quoted fields with embedded commas or newlines are handled so a single cell stays one value.

Test data tips

• Keep column names consistent and free of spaces so they are easy to use in code.
• Use fixed header names across files so your test harness can reuse the same map logic.
• Verify the converted JSON with the JSON Formatter before pasting it into a test.

Common edge cases

• Empty cells become empty strings, not null — handle them explicitly in your fixtures.
• Numbers that start with a zero, such as ZIP codes, are best stored as text in source CSV.
• Very large CSV files can be slow; split big datasets into smaller fixture files.
